Digital (one-)migrants. Transitioning from migration daily.

Global networking is one of the many positive effects of digitalization. Today, authors have significantly more opportunities for expression and information than before the internet age. Technology often leads to literary texts and works by authors migrating even before they themselves have ever traveled. What are the reactions of African authors to this, and how do they use these seemingly limitless opportunities to their advantage? What influence might they have on social change?

These questions were discussed at the 2019 African Book Festival by

Ainehi Edoro [Nigeria/USA], Emmanuel Sigauke [USA/Zimbabwe], and Fungai James Tichawangana [ZIM/Kenya/USA].
