Global Partnership for Drug Policy and Development

The Global Partnership on Drug Policies and Development (GPDPD), implemented by GIZ GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and under the political patronage of the Federal Government's Commissioner for Drugs and Addiction, advocates for evidence-based, human rights-oriented, and development-focused approaches to drug policy.

Since 2016, the GPDE has organized the annual Brandenburg Forum on Drugs and Development Policies (BBF) in cooperation with the Government of the Netherlands, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), the International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC), and the Transnational Institute (TNI). The Forum has established itself as a leading international platform for confidential exchange and strategic debates on global drug policy. It brings together governments, UN organizations, academia, and civil society to develop joint positions and strategies for drug policy negotiations.

The 10th Brandenburg Forum took place in November 2015. The anniversary edition built upon the forum's special role as a trusted venue for open dialogue and served to prepare
common positions for international drug policy processes in 2026.
My task was the live visualization of the central content, discussions, and results of the anniversary forum, as well as the visual highlighting of retrospectives and successes from ten years of
BBF.
